PETA India

PETA India works to protect animals from cruelty and neglect across the country. The organisation takes up cases of violence against animals, works with police and local authorities to see the law applied, and supports people who want to help animals in their own neighbourhoods. Its teams handle complaints from the public every day, from injured community animals to conflicts in housing colonies over animal feeding. Much of this work depends on quick, careful coordination between complainants, volunteers and law enforcement. This role sits within PETA India's Cruelty Response Team, which handles cases involving crimes against animals. images (96).jpg
