Avanti Fellows is a non-profit dedicated to empowering students from low-income and marginalised communities across India in STEM Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Their work focuses on giving students from underserved backgrounds the preparation and resources they need to get into India's top colleges. A key part of their mission is bridging the gender gap in STEM, ensuring every girl has a real shot at pursuing science and technology. Avanti is now scaling rapidly expanding Centres of Excellence and increasing student reach across the country.

Role

Own and grow a portfolio of corporate CSR partnerships for Avanti Fellows prospecting, closing, and managing relationships with corporates and corporate foundations to fund the expansion of quality STEM education for low-income and marginalised students across India.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential corporate partners, craft tailored proposals, and close new CSR funding agreements
• Build and manage lasting relationships with CSR heads and corporate foundations as their primary point of contact
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle from the first pitch through compliance, reporting, and renewals
• Work toward upsells and renewals through consistent communication and demonstrated programme impact
• Write high-quality proposals, impact reports, and donor updates for a range of audiences
• Help build the CSR function itself contribute to processes, templates, and systems as the team scales
• Coordinate across programme, finance, and leadership teams to ensure smooth partnership delivery
• Maintain pipeline discipline across long CSR funding cycles of six to twelve months

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or institutional giving, ideally in India's non-profit or social enterprise space
• Demonstrated experience independently managing five to ten or more active CSR relationships and closing grants in the one crore and above range
• Strong understanding of CSR regulations including Section 135, Schedule VII, compliance timelines, and Board approval processes
• Excellent written communication skills proposals, impact reports, and donor updates are a core part of this role
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, building-phase environment where not everything is pre-defined
• Genuine commitment to Avanti's mission of getting low-income and marginalised students, especially girls, into India's best STEM institutions
• Strong attention to detail CSR compliance is demanding and unforgiving
• Ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams with persistence and clarity
