The/Nudge Institute is an action institute working to build resilient livelihoods and alleviate poverty across India. The team works with women, farmers, tribal communities, and youth in rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion, in partnership with more than 15 central and state governments. Their work currently reaches over 15 lakh people across 10 states. Through an incubator, accelerator, and grand challenges, The/Nudge has supported over 200 social entrepreneurs. The organisation was founded with support from 130 philanthropists, 40 corporates, and 15 foundations, all working toward a poverty-free India.
Role
Help translate complex ideas into clear, structured, and compelling visuals. This role involves working on founder-facing and investor-facing materials, so the work produced will be actively seen, used, and discussed at senior levels.
Responsibilities
- Design pitch decks, reports, and presentations with a focus on clarity and structure
- Create visual assets for web, social media, and communication materials
- Help build and refine the visual language of the fund, including typography, layouts, and design systems
- Develop clean, minimal layouts that balance form and function
- Translate rough ideas and text into well-structured, high-quality visual outputs
- Work on long-form content such as reports and insight decks, ensuring alignment with brand and business context
- Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining quality and consistency
Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of experience in design or a related field; freshers with strong portfolios are welcome
- Strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Comfortable working with Figma and Adobe tools
- Ability to simplify and avoid over-designing
- Good aesthetic judgment with a preference for modern, minimal work over template-heavy outputs
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to refine work based on feedback
- A portfolio that demonstrates thinking and problem-solving, not just visual decoration
- Experience with motion graphics or simple animations is a plus
- Interest in storytelling through design
