Role

As the District Associate, you will support Sajhe Sapne's work across Khargone by strengthening multiple Sapna Centers and building relationships with students, families, facilitators, schools, community leaders, and local stakeholders. This is a field-based role focused on community engagement, coordination, and creating opportunities for young rural women.

Responsibilities

• Support the growth and functioning of multiple Sapna Centers across the district.
• Build and maintain relationships with students, families, schools, colleges, ITIs, self-help groups, community leaders, and local stakeholders.
• Lead student mobilization and onboarding activities.
• Track student participation, attendance, retention, and learning outcomes.
• Coordinate events, community engagements and stakeholder visits.
• Share field insights, challenges, and success stories with the wider team.
• Work closely with facilitators to ensure high-quality learning experiences.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community engagement, education, youth development, skilling, women's empowerment, or a related field.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership, solve problems, and work independently.
• Passion for working with young women and rural communities.
• Fluency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of local dialects spoken in Madhya Pradesh is an advantage.
