Role

The Field Supervisor will carry out crop and farmer surveys in an assigned block of South 24 Parganas district. You will visit farming households, speak with farmers, record details about their crops and farming practices, and make sure the information collected is accurate and complete. This is a contractual, project-based field job, and the pay covers all your own travel and transport within the block.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys of crops and farmers across the assigned block
• Collect accurate and complete field data as per the survey format
• Travel within the assigned block to reach farmers and survey locations
• Report survey data and findings to the project team on schedule
• Maintain clear and organised records of all survey work

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of 10+2 (higher secondary)
• Prior experience in field survey or similar work is required
• Willing to travel within the assigned block in South 24 Parganas
• This is a contractual, project based field role.
