Role

This role holds the systems behind fundraising. You will build the processes, documentation and data that let the fundraising, finance and programme teams work well together, while getting close, structured exposure to donors and how partnerships are built. It suits someone who likes creating order, improving how things run, and helping a team operate at a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and strengthen fundraising systems so quality stays high
  • Develop and roll out standard procedures across proposals, reporting and donor management
  • Lead the setup and day to day running of a CRM for donor data and pipeline tracking
  • Liaise with the finance and programme teams to smooth fundraising workflows
  • Track fundraising budgets, cash flow projections and programme costing
  • Monitor fundraising goals and funded versus unfunded projects, and support decisions on where support goes
  • Maintain clear documentation across proposals, budgets, MOUs and reports
  • Maintain knowledge management systems and trackers in line with CSR and statutory requirements
  • Manage donor MOU processing and documentation workflows
  • Coordinate programmatic and financial donor audits and keep the organisation audit ready
  • Coordinate donor engagement activities and touchpoints through the year
  • Join donor meetings, support follow ups, and contribute to ongoing communication to build context on donor relationships
  • Support preparation of donor reports by collating data, structuring insights and coordinating with programme and finance teams
  • Track donor commitments, timelines and deliverables across active partnerships
  • Research and pursue new funding opportunities across CSR, HNIs, foundations and innovative finance
  • Maintain and strengthen donor pipeline tracking systems
  • Support proposal development with data, insights and background research

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in fundraising, consulting, finance, data analytics or a related field, with external stakeholder interaction
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to run several workstreams on your own
  • Comfort working with data, budgets and financial tracking systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well across teams, including fundraising, finance and programmes
  • Strong attention to detail and a high ownership mindset
  • Ability to build and improve systems and processes
  • Comfort working in a fast paced, changing environment
  • A continuous learning mindset and openness to feedback
