Role

As the Fundraising Senior Manager at UMEED, you'll lead the charge in developing innovative fundraising strategies, nurturing donor relationships, and driving impactful campaigns to secure vital support for the organisation's programs. With strategic vision and leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering UMEED to expand its reach and make a lasting difference.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Understand and strategize to raise funds as per the organization's quarterly targets
• Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other funding sources
• Research funding opportunities, prepare grant proposals, and submit funding applications to secure grants
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events to engage donors and raise funds for specific programs
• Monitor fundraising performance, track revenue goals, and analyze fundraising data to inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate with internal teams, including program staff and communications professionals, to align fundraising efforts
• Lead and mentor fundraising team members, providing guidance and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in NGO or development sector fundraising roles
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to cultivate donor relationships
• Proficiency in grant writing and proposal development, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
• Experience planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events
• Understanding of financial principles and budget management
