Role

The HR Associate helps run and strengthen the everyday work of human resources at YRGCARE. The job covers hiring, staff records, performance reviews, benefits and compliance, and it also means improving how these things are done: clearer processes, better trackers, simpler documents that people can actually follow. It suits someone who likes bringing order to messy work and who wants that order to make life easier for colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Design job descriptions, screen CVs, coordinate interviews, and manage offer letters and onboarding
• Maintain employee records, probation/contract trackers, and standardised exit procedures
• Operationalise performance management, including SMART goal-setting and appraisal documentation
• Maintain HR databases, SOPs, and ensure compliance with labour laws and audit requirements
• Handle employee grievances and internal communications as a neutral point of contact
• Coordinate benefits administration and vendor management for ID cards, insurance, and renewals

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, NGO/social sector experience valued
• Good understanding of HR operations, Indian labour laws, and compliance requirements
• Working knowledge of HRMS/ATS tools, digital filing systems, and Excel (formulas, conditional formatting)
• Strong writing, interpersonal, and structured problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and confidentiality
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Telugu; experience improving HR workflows and commitment to DEI a plus
