Sarvoham Animal Foundation is a Bengaluru-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming vulnerable animals while promoting compassionate animal welfare through rescue, shelter management, veterinary care, and community engagement.
Role
The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end human resource operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, training, and organisational development. The role also supports administration, employee wellbeing, facilities coordination, and operational excellence while fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with the organisation's mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Manage onboarding, orientation, and induction processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and SOPs.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Manage performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development.
- Coordinate training, learning, and succession planning initiatives.
- Administer payroll support, employee benefits, and HR records.
- Conduct HR audits and ensure labour law compliance.
- Oversee HRIS, ATS, recruitment systems, and employee databases.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, wellness programmes, and recognition initiatives.
- Support office administration, vendor management, travel coordination, and facilities.
- Conduct background verification and exit interviews.
- Prepare HR reports, recruitment metrics, and workforce planning insights.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve organisational effectiveness and employee experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification preferred.
- 6+ years of HR management experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HR operations, labour laws, compliance, and employee relations.
- Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll support, workforce planning, and HR analytics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR technology platforms.
