Role

WRI India is hiring an Intern – Electric Mobility to support research and stakeholder engagement for projects promoting an equitable transition to electric vehicles in Karnataka. The internship offers hands-on experience in sustainable mobility, policy research, data analysis, and collaboration with government and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research on electric mobility and the automotive sector.
• Engage with government agencies, industry partners, and skilling organisations.
• Collect, analyse, and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data.
• Prepare presentations, reports, policy briefs, blogs, and research papers.
• Support stakeholder consultations, workshops, and capacity-building activities.
• Contribute to project planning and innovative research initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Sustainable Transportation, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Kannada, English, and Hindi (Kannada is mandatory).
• Knowledge of electric mobility, sustainable transport, and the automotive sector.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Available for 3 months Internship (Extendable)
