Role

The Key Donor Relations Officer will manage relationships with mid to high-value donors, supporting engagement strategies and ensuring smooth, professional communication. This role calls for strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key donors through regular communication
• Help plan and run donor engagement activities and events
• Keep donor databases and records accurate and up to date
• Prepare donor reports and updates
• Support fundraising initiatives and campaigns as needed
• Track donor commitments and follow up on time
• Maintain high standards of donor care and satisfaction

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree required; candidates with a science background are preferred
• At least 1 year of professional work experience in any field; experience in donor relations, fundraising, communications, or customer relationship roles is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills with a donor-centric approach
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
