Role

As the Manager & Division Head – Wild Rescue, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for WTI's Wild Rescue Division. You will oversee wildlife rescue and rehabilitation programmes, manage multidisciplinary teams, build partnerships, lead fundraising efforts, ensure donor compliance and strengthen programme quality across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning and implementation of Wild Rescue Division projects.
  • Develop project concepts, implementation plans and operational strategies.
  • Lead fundraising, donor engagement and proposal development.
  • Oversee wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and conservation programmes.
  • Supervise project implementation, monitoring and quality assurance.
  • Manage project budgets, financial planning and resource utilisation.
  • Build partnerships with government agencies, research institutions, NGOs and donors.
  • Mentor project teams, consultants and field staff.
  • Prepare technical reports, scientific publications, policy documents and donor reports.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, statutory requirements and donor commitments.
  • Represent WTI at conferences, workshops, technical forums and stakeholder meetings.
  • Strengthen monitoring systems, project documentation and organisational learning.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in wildlife conservation, especially wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary conservation programmes and field teams.
  • Strong skills in project management, fundraising, grant management and donor reporting.
  • Experience working with government agencies, NGOs and research institutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
