It works with women, farmers, tribals, and youth across rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion, in partnership with 15+ central and state governments. The organisation's economic inclusion journey towards serving 25 million Indians spans 10 states and currently reaches over 1.5 million people.

Role

As Manager, Product - L&D within the Economic Inclusion Programme (EIP), this role focuses on building the learning strategy for The/Nudge's field teams delivering the graduation approach — a targeted, multi-faceted model that has demonstrated the ability to durably pull households out of poverty. The role translates program goals and competency frameworks into role-wise learning plans, designs and delivers training for field teams, tracks performance and coaching needs, and champions automation and AI-first approaches to learning and development at scale.

Responsibilities

• Translate program goals and competency frameworks into role-wise learning plans for state field teams
• Prepare and implement program-level, annual, and quarterly learning calendars aligned to program timelines
• Coordinate with Operation leads and state leads to identify critical capability gaps and prioritize interventions
• Support design and contextualization of training modules and micro-learning content for economic inclusion work
• Deploy a mix of learning methods, including in-person training, coaching, field exposures, and online modules
• Facilitate train-the-trainer (ToT) sessions and manage a pool of internal trainers and champions
• Analyze performance and field outcome data to identify patterns, root causes, and learning needs
• Design learner pathways and journeys, including LMS content, shared drives, and playbooks
• Automate key people- and learning-related processes and workflows to improve efficiency
• Champion the use of AI tools to accelerate content creation, personalize learning, and streamline L&D operations

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in rural management, education, development studies, economics, HR, or a related field
• 8-10 years of work experience, preferably in Learning & Development, capacity building, or people development in large-scale field programs
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing training or people-development initiatives for frontline or distributed teams
• Experience working with government or non-profit programs an advantage
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills with comfort in field settings
• Understanding of learning design and implementation in rural Indian setups
• Data comfort, including basic analysis of program and learning data to generate insights
• Comfort with workflow automation and LMS, forms, app script, and basic integrations
• Openness to experimenting with AI tools for productivity while maintaining human oversight
• High ownership, adaptability, and willingness to travel extensively
