Role
The Manager, Student Readiness will design and lead Teach For India's college and career readiness ecosystem for students in Grades 8–10. The role combines programme design, curriculum development, partner management, Fellow enablement, and transition support to help first-generation learners successfully move into higher education and meaningful careers.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage the Grade 8–10 college and career readiness framework.
- Develop student readiness pathways covering career awareness, financial literacy, digital literacy, and transition skills.
- Build structured Grade 10–11 transition support for students.
- Source, onboard, and manage education and career readiness partners.
- Design Fellow training sessions, toolkits and learning resources.
- Develop career readiness resources for college and early-career students.
- Build financial literacy and scholarship awareness systems.
- Coordinate with programme, partnerships, data and city teams.
- Track student needs and strengthen readiness systems across cities.
- Support organisational initiatives including recruitment, fundraising, volunteering, and movement building.
Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in education, programme design, curriculum development, youth development, talent development or related sectors.
- Experience designing learning journeys or education programmes.
- Strong stakeholder and partner management skills.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong systems thinking and programme management abilities.
- Experience in curriculum or learning experience design.
- Experience training educators or frontline teams.
- Knowledge of higher education access, career readiness or first-generation learners.
- Background in youth development, career services, fellowship programmes, or education innovation.
