Role
The Manager to Senior Manager - Learning and Development leads the design, delivery and management of learning programmes for Bhumi's employees, volunteers and fellows. The role joins capacity-building work across several programme verticals, with attention to leadership development, volunteer engagement and educational equity. You will work as a strategic partner to programme leaders and other stakeholders, shaping learning journeys that match Bhumi's vision and the day to day needs of its teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and lead training and capacity building workshops for employees, volunteers, and fellows
- Build learning plans that support leadership growth and align with Bhumi's goals across program teams
- Manage the Learning Management System to deliver and track training programs
- Work with organizational leaders and program managers to identify training needs and promote learning initiatives
- Act as the main point of contact for all learning and development questions
- Set up systems and KPIs to measure how well training programs are working
- Use data to improve learning outcomes, engagement, and leadership development
- Manage the L&D budget and negotiate contracts with external training providers
- Build and maintain relationships with training vendors to ensure good quality, cost effective learning solutions
Requirements
- Graduate, postgraduate, or fellowship in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or Social Sector Management
- 5 to 9 years of experience in Learning and Development, preferably in NGOs, volunteer organizations, or the social sector
- Experience managing a Learning Management System
- Skills in designing and facilitating training programs
- Communication skills to work with leaders, program teams, and external partners
- Ability to use data to track and improve training impact
- Selection is through three rounds of interview.
