Tarq Foundation is a new-age nonprofit built on deep experience in CSR and social impact, positioning itself as India's first not-for-profit engineered to deliver Corporate Social Returns with speed, precision, and scale. This role sits within Tarq Foundation's Communications and Programmes team, capturing visual stories that document the organisation's social action and impact across digital and print platforms.

Role

The Photographer will work as part of the communications and programmes team to capture high-quality visual stories that document Tarq Foundation's social action and impact, amplifying its presence across digital and print platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute high-quality photoshoots and video shoots across field locations, campaigns, events, and organisational initiatives
• Develop compelling visual narratives reflecting community voices and experiences, consistent with brand identity and communication objectives
• Plan shoots, identify creative concepts, and adapt photographic styles to suit different audiences and platforms
• Manage complete post-production, including advanced image/video editing, retouching, colour correction, and colour grading
• Prepare media assets in multiple formats and resolutions for diverse publishing requirements
• Work closely with Communications and Programmes teams to identify impactful stories from field projects
• Participate in field visits to document programme activities, community stories, and organisational milestones
• Develop and maintain a well-structured digital asset management system for photographs and videos
• Provide production support for multimedia projects, including basic videography, lighting, and audio setup
• Shoot and support short-form videos, interviews, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content for digital campaigns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field
• 2-5 years of professional experience in photography and visual production, ideally within a non-profit or social enterprise
• Advanced skills in DSLR filming/photography
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple project timelines
• Willingness to travel intensively
