eGov Foundation

Founded in 2003 by Nandan Nilekani and Srikanth Nadhamuni, eGov Foundation works to make it easier for citizens to access services from their local governments. Its core platform, DIGIT (Digital Infrastructure for Governance, Impact and Transformation), is a free, open, and interoperable digital public good used by governments, cities, and commercial partners to build solutions across urban services, health, sanitation, and public finance. Over the past 20 years, eGov has worked with more than 2,600 towns and cities across 16 states in India, reaching over 16 crore citizens.

Role

You will lead the development and execution of digital health products that address real-world public health challenges. Working with internal teams, healthcare providers, community organisations, and public health authorities, you will design and deliver scalable solutions that improve health outcomes at a population level.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of digital health products focused on health equity, disease prevention, and access to care
Work closely with designers, engineers, public health experts, and community organisations to build impactful products
Guide and mentor a team of product managers, helping them grow and innovate
Use data and analytics to shape product decisions, measure real-world outcomes, and improve solutions over time
Oversee product development from ideation and user research through to launch and scale
Engage with government bodies, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to understand needs and shape product direction
Track product performance against public health outcomes and iterate based on findings

Requirements

At least 5 years of product management experience in healthcare, digital health, or public health
Proven experience managing a portfolio of products and mentoring a team of product managers
Strong understanding of health systems, disease surveillance, and the challenges faced by frontline health workers
Familiar with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR, and experienced with health technology systems including Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Health Information Exchanges (HIEs)
Skilled in user research, product prioritisation, and prototyping
Data-driven approach to decision-making and product improvement
Strong communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders
Genuine interest in solving systemic public health challenges, especially for underserved communities
