ATMA Foundation is the first NPO from Kerala to be listed on the Social Stock Exchange. Its Research & Development Centre (RADC) works as the organisation's academic and capacity-building wing, focused on research, innovation, and professional development in the social sector.
Role
A six-month, hands-on internship designed to build young leaders for the social development sector. Interns get structured mentoring and real exposure to how a professional non-profit runs, while contributing directly to ATMA's work.
Responsibilities
- Support programme implementation and community engagement
- Assist with project planning and day-to-day management
- Handle documentation and report writing
- Contribute to research and monitoring activities
- Support fundraising and donor relations
- Help with communications and digital media
- Assist with administration and organisational systems
- Coordinate events and on-ground logistics
- Support compliance and governance tasks
- Take on other responsibilities as organisational needs arise
Requirements
- Graduate or final-year student in any discipline; those interested in the social sector are encouraged to apply
- Willingness to work across different functional areas and take on varied responsibilities
- Good communication skills, spoken and written
- Basic computer skills (MS Office or Google Workspace)
- Strong sense of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Ability to follow organisational rules, timelines, and reporting structures
