ATMA Foundation

ATMA Foundation is the first NPO from Kerala to be listed on the Social Stock Exchange. Its Research & Development Centre (RADC) works as the organisation's academic and capacity-building wing, focused on research, innovation, and professional development in the social sector.

Role

A six-month, hands-on internship designed to build young leaders for the social development sector. Interns get structured mentoring and real exposure to how a professional non-profit runs, while contributing directly to ATMA's work.

Responsibilities

• Support programme implementation and community engagement
• Assist with project planning and day-to-day management
• Handle documentation and report writing
• Contribute to research and monitoring activities
• Support fundraising and donor relations
• Help with communications and digital media
• Assist with administration and organisational systems
• Coordinate events and on-ground logistics
• Support compliance and governance tasks
• Take on other responsibilities as organisational needs arise

Requirements

• Graduate or final-year student in any discipline; those interested in the social sector are encouraged to apply
• Willingness to work across different functional areas and take on varied responsibilities
• Good communication skills, spoken and written
• Basic computer skills (MS Office or Google Workspace)
• Strong sense of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Ability to follow organisational rules, timelines, and reporting structures
