YosAid Innovation Foundation helps patients and their families in India take better care of their health. It works with government hospitals and health departments to teach families simple, practical health skills while they are at the hospital. YosAid is the implementation partner of Noora Health, and its Director helped shape the Care Companion Program (CCP) with Noora Health's co-founders in 2012. Through this work, YosAid makes public health systems stronger and helps families care for their loved ones at home. This role sits within YosAid's Implementation team, which runs the Care Companion Program inside partner hospitals.

Role

As Program Coordinator, you will run the Care Companion Program day to day at a group of public hospitals in Haryana. You will build good working relationships with hospital and district staff, keep an eye on how the program is doing, and help trainers teach families in the local language. Much of your time will be spent travelling to hospitals and health centres, working closely with the Program Manager and Senior Program Associate.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the Care Companion Program at assigned partner hospitals.
• Support the Program Manager and Senior Program Associate in setting up and maintaining the program, both on site and remotely.
• Coordinate with a set of partners, including public hospitals, as their main point of contact.
• Attend review meetings at hospital and district level to build trust and keep the program running smoothly.
• Track program data for your hospitals and work with the Program Manager to solve problems it shows.
• Conduct monthly quality checks of health classes at randomly selected hospitals.
• Support Master Trainers and Lead Trainers in running training sessions for hospital staff in the local language.
• Identify when refresher training is needed and arrange the logistics.
• Work with in-house designers and content creators to test new ideas in partner hospitals.
• Collect feedback on these tests to help the team make decisions about content and operations.
• Build respectful working relationships with government staff while making sure training goals are met.

Requirements

• A degree in a health or management field such as MPH, MHA, MBA, BPT or Bachelors in Nursing, or an MSW.
• 6 months to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Freshers with a good academic record and training experience in the government health system during their course are welcome.
• People with relevant experience of working with government systems are encouraged to apply.
• Fluency in Hindi and Haryanvi is required. Any other language is an added advantage.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel often to health facilities (DH, SDH, CHC, PHC and HWC) across several districts, sometimes for long periods.
• Willingness to relocate to another part of Haryana if the project needs it.
• Readiness to be based at the district headquarters of your work location.
• Comfort with MS Office, Google Drive and common computer tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Clear, confident communication with people at every level.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Tact and sensitivity when working with government staff.

Benefits

• Monthly pay of ₹30,000 to ₹40,000.
