In partnership with healthcare institutions and the government, YosAid provides healthcare training and skill building to patients and family caregivers on health behaviours and information. YosAid is the implementation partner of Noora Health and runs the Care Companion Program (CCP), which was co-developed with Noora Health's founders.

Role

The Program Coordinator will manage the day to day operations of the Care Companion Program at partner hospitals, building a knowledge sharing system for patients and families accessing public healthcare. This is a full time, one year contract role based in Panipat, Haryana, requiring extensive travel to healthcare facilities across the district.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager and Senior Program Associate in implementing and maintaining the Care Companion Program at partner hospitals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for a set of partner hospitals, managing relationships and coordinating on-site and off-site programme activities.
  • Attend review meetings at hospital and district level to build strong working relationships for smooth implementation.
  • Monitor programme output data for assigned hospitals and work with the Program - Manager to resolve operational challenges.
  • Conduct monthly class quality audits at a random set of hospitals.
  • Support Master Trainers and Lead Trainers in delivering training sessions in the local language.
  • Identify the need for booster training sessions and coordinate logistics for them.
  • Work with the design and content team to test new programme ideas at hospital partners, and gather feedback to guide content and operational decisions.

Requirements

  • Background in healthcare or management, such as MPH, MHA, MBA, BPT, Bachelors in Nursing, or MSW. Freshers with relevant government sector experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • 6 months to 3 years of relevant work experience. Freshers with a strong academic record and training experience in the government health system will also be considered.
  • Fluency in Hindi, Haryanvi, and English is required. Knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Drive, and other common computer applications.
  • Strong problem solving skills, a team player attitude, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships with government staff sensitively while ensuring training outcomes are met.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across healthcare facilities in the district, sometimes for extended periods, and be based at the district headquarters.
