Rocket Learning is a nonprofit organisation working to improve early childhood education and development in India. The organisation partners with government systems, frontline workers, parents, and communities to strengthen foundational learning among young children, particularly those from underserved communities. Through technology-enabled learning, capacity building, data-driven interventions, and government partnerships, Rocket Learning supports Anganwadi workers, caregivers, and education stakeholders to improve children's early learning and development outcomes at scale.

Role

Rocket Learning is hiring a Program Manager – PMU Punjab to support the implementation of early childhood care and education (ECCE) programmes in partnership with government stakeholders. The role focuses on government liaison, programme coordination, training support, data tracking, and ensuring smooth execution across state, district, and field levels.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with government officials and state stakeholders.
• Coordinate programme activities across state, district, and field levels.
• Liaise with the Women & Child Development department for approvals and documentation.
• Manage assigned projects and workstreams from planning through execution.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, presentations, letters, and official briefs.
• Support training and workshops for AWWs, Supervisors, CDPOs, and government officials.
• Track programme progress, analyse data, and share regular updates.
• Coordinate monitoring activities with district officials.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in the development sector.
• Experience working with government systems and stakeholders.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Canva.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently in ambiguous situations.
• Fluency in Punjabi.
• Passion for early childhood education and social impact.
