Program Officer in Rajasthan | YosAid Innovation Foundation | ₹10.8–12 LPA

YosAid Innovation Foundation is a nonprofit organisation strengthening public health systems by empowering patients, family caregivers and healthcare workers through evidence-based health education, capacity building and technology-enabled healthcare programmes.

Role

YosAid Innovation Foundation is hiring a Program Officer for Rajasthan. This remote contract role focuses on implementing and managing the Care Companion Program across partner hospitals by leading programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and team management. You will work closely with government officials, hospital administrators and partner organisations to improve healthcare outcomes at scale. The role requires extensive project-based travel to district and other hospitals across Rajasthan, including occasional extended stays or temporary relocation within the state.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end implementation of programmes across partner hospitals.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, hospital administrators and partner organisations.
• Lead programme operations, budgeting and resource planning.
• Recruit, manage and mentor programme teams.
• Monitor programme performance using quantitative and qualitative data.
• Conduct and supervise programme quality audits.
• Coordinate research activities with external partners.
• Support Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions and state-level workshops.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to test and improve programme interventions.
• Gather field insights and recommend operational improvements.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in public health programme management.
• Background in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Management or related fields (MPH, MHA, MBA preferred).
• Experience working with government health systems and hospital partners.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and common web applications.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Rajasthan, including extended field visits when required.
• Strong problem-solving, planning and partnership management skills.
