Role
Drive on-ground delivery of Veruschka Foundation's awareness, outreach, and community engagement programmes coordinating events, mobilising communities, and connecting people with disabilities, caregivers, and institutions to the Foundation's work.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of awareness campaigns, workshops, and events as per timelines and standard procedures
- Coordinate logistics for on-ground and off-site events including venues, participants, partners, and volunteers
- Lead outreach activities to engage persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, caregivers, schools, and community stakeholders through field visits and awareness sessions
- Support mobilisation for programme enrolments, workshops, and public events
- Liaise with schools, NGOs, corporates, resident welfare associations, and local institutions to support awareness initiatives
- Represent Veruschka Foundation at community events, fairs, and public forums
- Collect and document data on programme progress, participant attendance, feedback, and outcomes
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly internal reports and support donor-facing documentation
- Maintain accurate data entry in MIS systems
- Share photographs, stories, and testimonials from events with the Communications team
- Support content needs for newsletters, social media, donor updates, and the Annual Report
- Assist with administrative tasks related to event planning, permissions, documentation, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding, inclusion, and organisational protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Education, Sustainability, Social Work, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in programme implementation, awareness campaigns, events, or community mobilisation
- Experience in community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and on-ground event coordination
- Familiarity with MIS tools, SOPs, and basic project management
- Strong interpersonal and empathetic communication skills
- Willingness to travel locally for field visits and events
- Strong belief in inclusion, equity, and disability rights
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working both independently and in cross-functional teams
- Sensitive and respectful in diverse community settings
