This role sits within the Foundation's Apna Ghar – Transit Home project, supporting patients and caregivers accessing healthcare services away from home.

Role
As part of its continued efforts, the Foundation is looking to onboard a compassionate and committed Project Associate to lead the operations of its Apna Ghar – Transit Home project in Cuttack. The Project Associate will be responsible for overall transit home management and associated activities as per Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring patients and caregivers are well supported throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall transit home operations and activities as per Standard Operating Procedures
- Forge and maintain harmonious, functional relationships with stakeholders such as hospitals, doctors, and service providers
- Ensure patients' requirements are addressed in a constructive and timely manner
- Ensure full occupancy and attend to the needs of patients and caregivers
- Lead a small team of service providers and ensure needed resources are available on time
- Contribute to CSR activities at the location/site
Requirements
- MSW / MPH / MA in Social Science / MBA with 1-2 years of experience, preferably in the healthcare sector focusing on Cancer and other NCDs
- Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare scenario in the state and various NCD-related programs and schemes
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to supervise the project
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative matters
- Skills in MS Office tools, with working knowledge in English and local language proficiency
