Role

Peepul is hiring a Project Associate for the CM Rise Teacher Professional Development Programme in Bhopal. This full-time role focuses on developing high-quality science education content, strengthening teacher professional development and supporting large-scale implementation across Madhya Pradesh. You will collaborate with government stakeholders and education teams to improve teaching quality and student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop science-focused training modules, lesson plans and teaching resources.
• Conduct subject research to ensure content quality and curriculum alignment.
• Design and support teacher capacity-building programmes and workshops.
• Create reports, presentations and standard operating procedures for programme implementation.
• Document best practices and case studies in science education.
• Collaborate with government officials, academic teams and teacher trainers.
• Support large-scale implementation of teacher professional development initiatives.
• Define programme success metrics and monitor implementation progress.
• Work with monitoring and evaluation teams to develop assessment tools.
• Strengthen stakeholder engagement and support continuous programme improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Education with a strong understanding of classroom pedagogy.
• Additional background in Science, Social Work or Public Policy is an advantage.
• 2–4 years of experience in the education sector, including at least 1 yr of classroom teaching in Science.
• Experience implementing education programmes in India.
• Strong curriculum development, teacher training and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
