Scope For Change is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through sustainable development projects. The organization works across education, women empowerment, environment, social well-being, and health. Its flagship project, "Hamein Padhao Hamein Badhao," provides underserved communities with access to quality learning opportunities through learning centres and educational programs in marginalized areas.

Role

The Project Leader Intern will support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities at SFC's learning centres and government schools. This role involves teaching, supervising teams, and driving community engagement to strengthen SFC's education and outreach programmes in Delhi NCR and Gurugram.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities at learning centres and government schools, including field visits to track quality and collect data
• Teach students when required and guide teachers on innovative teaching methods
• Supervise teachers, interns, and volunteers to ensure smooth implementation of activities
• Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and monthly progress reports
• Develop worksheets, learning resources, and educational content
• Organise awareness sessions and workshops on health, hygiene, life skills, digital literacy, career guidance, and environmental education
• Coordinate with school principals, teachers, and community members, and generate admissions to strengthen community participation in SFC programmes
• Plan and execute school events, engagement activities, and community outreach programs
• Prepare project documentation, presentations, reports, and case studies
• Support fundraising initiatives, including proposals and reports
• Manage social media updates, basic graphic design, and activity documentation

Requirements

• Available for a full time, in office internship for a minimum of 6 months, able to join immediately
• Based in Delhi NCR or Gurugram, with willingness to travel for field visits across the region
• Graduate or postgraduate in Social Work, Education, Management, Humanities, or a related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of experience in NGOs, education, project coordination, or community development preferred; freshers with strong leadership skills are also encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and organizational skills, with comfort teaching students when required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with strong documentation and reporting skills
