Girl Rising is a global nonprofit organisation that uses storytelling, education and partnerships to advance girls' education and gender equality. Working with communities, educators and partners worldwide, it develops programmes that empower adolescent girls and create opportunities for them to thrive.

Role

Girl Rising is hiring a Project Manager based in Delhi or Mumbai. This full-time role will lead multi-stakeholder education projects, manage corporate partnerships, coordinate programme implementation and ensure high-quality delivery across global initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams, funders and partner organisations to drive impactful programmes for girls and young people.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines and implementation trackers.
• Coordinate with internal teams, partners and external stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Lead partner meetings, project reviews and progress updates.
• Coordinate programme implementation, trainings and pilot rollouts.
• Support the development of learning materials, games and programme resources.
• Manage funder reporting, project milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with communications, development and monitoring teams.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality control across projects.
• Coordinate training sessions, events and partner engagement activities.
• Provide operational and programme management support across Girl Rising initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the social sector, education or international development.
• Experience working with corporate partners and nonprofit stakeholders.
• Experience working with youth programmes, preferably in low- and middle-income countries.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Experience using project management tools and software.
• Ability to work across cultures, time zones and international teams.
• Passion for gender equity, girls' education and youth empowerment.
• Master's degree in Education, International Development, Gender, Social Sciences, Project Management or a related field is preferred.
• Experience developing youth learning tools or managing large-scale initiatives is an advantage.
