Role

The Project Manager – Development Impact Bond will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating professional development and capacity building programs for teachers, Head Masters (HMs), and government officials. The role requires strong instructional design skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and the ability to independently lead the design and delivery of interventions supporting teachers, HMs, and academic officials of the MCD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of high-quality training content for teachers and school leaders
• Design, pilot, and develop teacher training and support interventions, including Professional Learning Circles and digital/face-to-face training courses
• Apply content knowledge and classroom experience to develop interventions that shift teacher mindset, knowledge, and practice
• Lead pilots of interventions, document learnings, and evolve design for greater impact at scale
• Potentially manage 2-3 associates and coach them on facilitation and workstream-related skills
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, consultants, and educational organizations
• Create effective work planning systems to ensure the project stays on track
• Work with the in-house Monitoring and Evaluation team and external experts to develop project evaluation tools

Requirements

• Relevant educational background in Education or related disciplines highly preferred
• At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing professional development programs for teachers
• At least 2 years of direct classroom experience
• Experience working in government systems and awareness of Indian education structures desirable
• Excellent facilitation and leadership skills to support and influence stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups
• Proficiency in English and Hindi
