Role
Central Square Foundation is hiring a Project Manager – School Governance in New Delhi. This full-time role supports initiatives to strengthen school accountability and transparency by driving research, communications and community engagement. You will work closely with government stakeholders, education experts and partner organisations while contributing to policy advocacy, behaviour change campaigns and programme implementation. The role involves travel to partner states as required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research to inform school governance strategies.
- Analyse policies, regulatory frameworks and behaviour change models.
- Create compelling communication materials including reports, videos, podcasts, infographics and opinion pieces.
- Build public awareness around school accountability and transparency reforms.
- Design and implement community outreach initiatives and pilot projects.
- Support behaviour change campaigns focused on improving learning outcomes.
- Analyse pilot data and generate insights for programme improvement.
- Prepare donor reports, presentations and programme documentation.
- Coordinate with government officials, education stakeholders and partner organisations.
- Support programme planning, monitoring and strategic implementation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Communications, Public Policy, Development Studies or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the education or development sector.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent writing, communication and content development abilities.
- Experience creating reports, presentations and communication materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Interest in education policy, governance and systems reform.
- Willingness to travel to partner states when required.
