Role

As Senior Manager – Programmes, you will lead large social impact programmes from the first idea to the final report. You will turn partner goals and community needs into clear plans, guide field teams and partners as the work rolls out, and build the systems that show whether the programme is making a real difference. You will also build strong partnerships with companies, NGOs and government, and help grow and mentor the team around you.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full design of CSR and social impact programmes that match partner goals, community needs and Tarq's priorities.
• Turn programme ideas into clear plans with goals, indicators, budgets and timelines.
• Develop new programme models that fit local contexts and can grow to more places.
• Manage several on-ground projects at once, keeping each on scope, on time and to a high standard.
• Supervise field teams and implementing partners as programmes roll out.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, NGOs, government departments and communities.
• Support new partnerships by helping write proposals and represent Tarq at client reviews, meetings and public forums.
• Set programme KPIs and impact measurement frameworks with the Research and Insights team, and adjust plans based on evidence and field feedback.
• Document case studies, success stories and lessons so the whole organisation can learn from them.
• Mentor programme associates and managers, and run learning sessions and team development plans.
• Ensure programmes follow legal, financial and donor reporting rules, and review budgets, fund use and partner reports with the Finance and Compliance teams.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards and presentations for internal teams and partners.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Sustainability, Development Studies, Business, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
• 7 to 9 years of experience in CSR, social development, sustainability, or NGO programme management
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and scaling CSR programmes across sectors like education, health, environment, and livelihood
• Strong skills in monitoring, evaluation, assessments, and data driven decision making
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects across different locations
