Role
Bridge programme planning and ground-level delivery for Peepul's education reform work in Delhi, working closely with MCD officials, school leaders, and teachers to ensure programmes run smoothly and deliver real impact.
Responsibilities
- Support the rollout of education programmes across MCD zones, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Coordinate with zonal officials, school principals, and Mentor Teachers to deliver programme activities on the ground
- Track programme progress, document outcomes, and flag delays or issues to the Project Manager
- Maintain accurate records of field visits and prepare regular progress reports for internal and government review
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with MCD officials and school-level staff
- Coordinate government correspondence, meeting follow-ups, and communication between departments
- Support logistics and execution of government meetings, workshops, and field visits
- Contribute to team planning, knowledge sharing, and documentation of best practices
- Mentor and support junior associates as needed
Requirements
- Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Consulting, Public Policy, or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience managing education projects, ideally within government schools or education non-profits, ideally including project management or monitoring work
- Experience managing project units for government programmes is also valued
- Classroom teaching experience within the government school system is a plus
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation of interventions
- Proficiency in English and Hindi
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, especially with government officials
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to work independently on ground-level execution
