Peepul is an education-focused non-profit working to transform India's education system and help every child reach their full potential. They partner with national, state, and local governments to strengthen government schools at scale, currently working with the Delhi and Madhya Pradesh governments to reach over 6.6 million students, 273,000 teachers, and 2,400 school leaders across more than 90,000 government schools. Role

Bridge programme planning and ground-level delivery for Peepul's education reform work in Delhi, working closely with MCD officials, school leaders, and teachers to ensure programmes run smoothly and deliver real impact.

Responsibilities

• Support the rollout of education programmes across MCD zones, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Coordinate with zonal officials, school principals, and Mentor Teachers to deliver programme activities on the ground
• Track programme progress, document outcomes, and flag delays or issues to the Project Manager
• Maintain accurate records of field visits and prepare regular progress reports for internal and government review
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with MCD officials and school-level staff
• Coordinate government correspondence, meeting follow-ups, and communication between departments
• Support logistics and execution of government meetings, workshops, and field visits
• Contribute to team planning, knowledge sharing, and documentation of best practices
• Mentor and support junior associates as needed

Requirements

• Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Consulting, Public Policy, or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of experience managing education projects, ideally within government schools or education non-profits, ideally including project management or monitoring work
• Experience managing project units for government programmes is also valued
• Classroom teaching experience within the government school system is a plus
• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation of interventions
• Proficiency in English and Hindi
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, especially with government officials
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to work independently on ground-level execution
