Founded in 2012, Central Square Foundation (CSF) is a non-profit philanthropic foundation working with the vision of ensuring quality school education for all children in India. CSF believes effective foundational learning is essential for better learning outcomes, with foundational literacy and numeracy by Class 3 serving as a critical building block. CSF has prioritized four critical areas of work: Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN), EdTech, Early Childhood Education (ECE), and Schools Governance. Since 2012, CSF has played a pivotal role in shaping India's EdTech ecosystem by bridging demand and supply through rigorous research, collaborating with 15+ EdTech organizations, 11+ state governments, and leading academic institutions in the last five years, reaching 2.5 million learners across India.

Role

As part of the EdTech team at CSF, the Senior Project Manager/Project Lead will drive the transformation of education for children in India by leveraging technology in meaningful, evidence-based ways. The role involves conceptualizing, designing, and leading high-impact initiatives, collaborating with influential stakeholders, and harnessing frontier technologies including AI to revolutionize learning at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the growing portfolio of EdTech projects at CSF
• Manage end-to-end project execution, including annual/quarterly goals, budget planning, operations, and timely reporting
• Identify innovative hypotheses based on trends in AI and frontier technologies, building a pipeline of opportunities for partnerships
• Support the development of strategic plans by identifying key EdTech trends and designing high-impact initiatives
• Support grant writing, donor engagement, and funding proposal development
• Lead the development of thought leadership, reports, blogs, and presentations for internal and external audiences
• Manage internal and external reporting and reviews with leadership, funders, and Board members
• Build and manage relationships with funders, ecosystem partners, and technology innovators

Requirements

• Master's or equivalent degree, with background in business, economics, education, or public policy preferred
• 5-9 years of work experience, ideally across both the social impact/development sector and corporate or consulting environments
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills for complex EdTech and education challenges
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships
• Experience in the education/EdTech sector preferred
• Exposure to AI technologies and integration with technical teams preferred
• Entrepreneurial spirit suited to a small, collaborative organisational setting
