Role
As Specialist, RI Programs and Service, you will keep Rotary's programmes running smoothly for members, participants and alumni. You will handle programme requests, look after the quality of programme data, turn that data into useful insights, and support events and meetings. You will report to the Manager, RI Programs and the International Office Manager. About 60% of your time goes to supporting global RI Programs and Service work, and 40% goes to regional programmes and service, including building relationships across South Asia. The role is hybrid, following the arrangement already in place at the South Asia Office.
Responsibilities
- Process chartering, replacement, and termination requests for regional and Rotary International (RI) World Headquarters programs.
- Serve as the primary contact for member inquiries, manage shared inboxes, and assist with general program communications.
- Maintain participant databases, run reports, and analyze data alongside the RI Programs Manager to identify operational trends and insights.
- Coordinate event and webinar logistics, manage e-learning platforms, and represent the team at online and in-person regional events.
- Streamline team processes, support revenue-generating initiatives, take meeting minutes, and handle special administrative projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least three years of administrative experience, ideally within nonprofit management or volunteer engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and experience in data analysis and trend identification.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with additional language proficiency or international experience considered a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with volunteers and staff across all levels, alongside flexibility for occasional non-standard working hours.
