Sr Associate / Lead – Placement Support in Tamil Nadu | Bhumi | ₹4.5-6 LPA
Bhumi
Bhumi is one of India's largest independent youth volunteer organisations, working to give children from underserved communities a real chance at a good education. Its volunteers and full-time staff work inside government schools and community centres across the country, supporting children's learning and growth. Through the Bhumi Fellowship, it also builds a pipeline of young leaders who go on to change the public education system from within. The work is centred on the whole child: knowledge, adaptability and the resilience to thrive. This role sits within Bhumi's Fellowship programme team, which prepares final-year Fellows for their next step after the two-year fellowship ends.

Role
The Sr Associate / Lead for Placement Support helps final-year Fellows move confidently into strong post-fellowship pathways, whether that is a job, higher education or another route in the social sector. You will design and run a structured, year-long placement journey that builds Fellows' awareness of the ecosystem, opens doors to real opportunities, and prepares them to step forward as young change leaders. You will work closely with one placement support team member, the Program Managers, and a wide network of partner organisations.

- Build and manage relationships with 100+ organisations to create a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Create access to jobs, internships and exposure visits that Fellows can use during and after the fellowship.
- Work with Program Managers to guide 30+ Fellows through their post-fellowship journey.
- Track Fellow readiness so every Fellow gets the support they need at the right time.
