Role
A data and reporting leadership role responsible for maintaining the Project Implementation Plan, tracking programme data through MIS, and supporting donor and evaluation reporting. The Senior Manager will work closely with state and evaluation teams, coordinating across centers to ensure programme activities are tracked, documented, and reported accurately, reporting to the Director – Program.
Responsibilities
- Track and report state-level programme inputs and outputs through MIS
- Create and maintain the Project Implementation Plan (PIP), flagging concerns to stakeholders when needed
- Collect, collate, and present monthly progress reports from all states
- Coordinate across centers to ensure smooth delivery of planned programme activities
- Maintain a state-level interface for inputs into center-level consultations, and build a monthly-updated repository of implementation data
- Support state and evaluation teams in tracking programme feedback, and turn evaluation recommendations into action plans for the next quarter
- Manage donor reporting in coordination with the Resource Mobilization team and state-level documentation staff
- Support programme budget management and financial accountability at the PIP level
- Represent Breakthrough at state and national forums
- Conduct regular state-level supervision, monitoring, and data validation
- Support state and district MIS teams with gap analysis and suggest ways to improve data quality and consistency
- Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting with clear links to programme outcomes
- Support the Research & Evaluation team on concurrent evaluations and research studies
- Support development of data collection tools for Breakthrough's digital systems
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- 8-12 years of similar work experience
- Experience handling and interpreting large-scale data sets
- Strong skills in MS Excel (Advanced), SPSS, or other quantitative and qualitative analysis tools
- Sound knowledge of documentation and proven experience documenting project learning
- Proven experience in report collation
- Experience working with multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary teams across different locations is preferred
- A collaborative attitude and ability to work well across teams
