Kaboom Social Impact
Kaboom Social Impact is a creative strategy consultancy and design studio based in New Delhi, working at the intersection of big ideas and bold action to drive people-led social change. The organisation builds campaigns, brands, toolkits, and experiences that shift narratives, challenge norms, and move communities to act. It is not structured as a traditional agency but operates in two interconnected circles Strategy, Development and Implementation, and Design Studio reflecting the belief that lasting change happens through collaboration and creative disruption, not silos.
Headquarters: Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi. Type: Social Impact Consultancy and Design Studio
Kaboom works across two practice areas that together form its model:
- Strategy, Development and Implementation covers social and behaviour change communication (SBCC), narrative shift work, and on-ground campaign implementation. The team conducts human-centred design-led research, formative and generative research, gap and needs analysis, and translates community insights into large-scale campaigns. Work in this vertical spans menstrual health, maternal and child nutrition, vaccine uptake, and women's digital inclusion.
- Design Studio is where strategy takes visual form. The in-house studio produces brand identities, campaign toolkits, films, animation, apps, chatbots, website design, instructional design, and human interest stories. The studio's outputs are designed to be not just visually compelling but deeply functional for the communities and implementers they serve.
Major Projects and Initiatives
- Bahubali Ki Jeet - A first-of-its-kind digital campaign for IPE Global and the Government of Rajasthan that reframed gender roles by engaging men as allies in maternal and child nutrition. Using the Bahubali cultural icon as a role model, the campaign generated over 5 million views and 1 million interactions, and drove uptake of Rajasthan's cash benefit scheme for pregnant and lactating women.
- Phone Toh Uthao - A behaviour change communication initiative for BBC Media Action and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation addressing social barriers to women's digital adoption. Delivered through IVR audio and WhatsApp chatbot videos, the pilot empowered 75 Digital Champions to drive mobile adoption among women in their communities.
- Kawach - An interactive child protection training module developed for British Asian Trust, hosted on the iGOT Karmayogi platform. The module sensitises India's civil servants to child safety and currently reaches 35 million government officials nationwide.
- Kaboom Talks - A community initiative that brings together practitioners, storytellers, campaigners, and social entrepreneurs to share field insights and untold stories from the world of social change.
- MESH - An upcoming initiative focused on empowering young people through curiosity and personal narrative, giving youth the space to question and rewrite the world around them.

The founder's background spanning MTV EXIT, Menstrual Hygiene Day, and the National Institute of Design sets a tone of ambition and craft that runs through the organisation.
