Role

Be the right hand to the CTO. You will write code, build small tools, run team operations, and connect engineering with on-ground partners. This role suits someone who can code, learns fast, and enjoys solving everyday problems.

Responsibilities

  • Build small internal tools, dashboards, and scripts that save the team time.
  • Use AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, v0, and Replit to ship work faster.
  • Learn how the product works, from transcription to court deployments to model training.
  • Sit in design reviews, read code, and ask good questions.
  • Own data trackers, partner dashboards, and reports that leadership uses every week.
  • Run hiring, onboarding, and review processes for the tech team.
  • Connect the tech team with the partnerships team so nothing is lost in translation.
  • Maintain the CTO's Office records, including notes, decisions, and documents.
  • Spot broken workflows, propose simple fixes, and ship them.
  • Write clear briefs and data summaries for leaders, the board, and partners.

Requirements

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in engineering, a startup, or a consulting or analyst role. Strong fresh graduates with a clear portfolio are welcome.
  • A background in computer science, engineering, math, or physics is helpful but not required.
  • A GitHub profile, side project, open-source work, or portfolio of tools you have built.
  • Working knowledge of Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Go. You can build a small service or dashboard on your own.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools like Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, v0, and Replit. You have built things with them.
  • Strong Excel, Google Sheets, and Airtable skills. You can build trackers and pivots without help.
  • Clear writing in English. A tight email, a sharp message, a clean brief.
  • Comfort with shifting between many different tasks in one day.

Benefits

  • Work from home with flexible hours.
  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • Maternity and paternity leave.
  • Learning and development support.
  • Access to the Harvard, MIT, and Oxford networks.
  • Full ownership of your work.
