Role
The Resource Person will oversee urban programme implementation across 1 to 4 clusters in Bangalore. This is a field-facing coordination role that involves supervising centre coordinators, building their capacity, facilitating review meetings, and ensuring strong use of data and reporting systems across the cluster.
Responsibilities
- Supervise cluster coordinators for welfare rights, children's, youth, and elderly centres; visit each centre every week to support operations, give feedback, resolve issues, and engage with the community.
- Identify skill and knowledge gaps among centre coordinators; create capacity building plans and support their learning on identified topics.
- Facilitate cluster-level review meetings and attend monthly city-level meetings; participate in fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly meetings organised by implementing partners.
- Ensure all staff use MIS systems correctly; support the rollout and stabilisation of MIS systems in the field; prepare reports and documents as per project requirements.
Requirements
- Age between 25 and 40 years.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a programme role within a civil society organisation at block, district, zone, or ward level.
- Prior experience working with MIS systems.
- Working knowledge of basic budgeting and reading utilisation certificates.
- Proficiency in Kannada, Tamil, or Hindi, along with English.
- Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel extensively within Bangalore every day.
