Role
Azim Premji Foundation is looking for Teachers across three subject areas Pre-Primary, Environmental Studies (EVS), and Special Education at their school in Tonk, Rajasthan. As a Teacher, you will help children from diverse backgrounds develop as sensitive, engaged, and independent learners. Selected candidates will be placed based on available positions at the time of joining.
Responsibilities
- Create a participative and inclusive classroom environment that supports children with diverse backgrounds, interests, and abilities
- Encourage active discovery, curiosity, and independent thinking in every student
- Work towards achieving learning goals and curricular objectives for each child in your class
- Contribute actively to school-wide processes, planning, and community building
Requirements
- For Pre-Primary: Graduation in any discipline along with NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) or an equivalent teacher training qualification
- For EVS: Graduation in any discipline along with D.Ed. or B.Ed.
- For Special Education: Relevant subject qualifications along with B.Ed. in Special Education
- Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience across any of the above roles
- Ability to teach in English; working knowledge of Hindi is mandatory
- A genuine commitment to child-centred learning and inclusive education
