Role

The Digital Fundraising and Communications Officer will develop content and campaigns, manage digital channels, and drive online fundraising for MSF India and South Asia. This role sits at the intersection of digital marketing, storytelling, and donor engagement, with a focus on growing MSF's community of supporters and achieving fundraising goals through online platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality content for digital channels including social media, email, WhatsApp, and web, tailored to fundraising audiences and aligned with MSF India's brand and goals; maintain a content calendar and update content based on performance data.
  • Plan, manage, and optimise paid digital campaigns including paid search, SEO, PPC, and social media ads to drive traffic to donation pages and maximise leads and return on investment.
  • Manage email and WhatsApp campaigns and donor journeys; build community engagement through daily social media monitoring, influencer partnerships, and adapting global MSF content for Indian audiences.
  • Support the planning and delivery of integrated fundraising campaigns in coordination with the Campaigns Manager, external agencies, and internal teams; ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with campaign briefs.
  • Track and report on digital campaign performance against KPIs including leads, ROI, reach, conversions, and budget; use data insights to refine strategies and ensure all activities comply with data protection guidelines and MSF brand standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media.
  • Skilled in CRM, CMS, analytics, SEO, and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong content creation and graphic design skills; familiarity with AI and video tools.
  • Experience in performance marketing, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, display advertising, and social media ads.
  • Highly creative with a solid understanding of target audiences, conversion, and online donor acquisition.
  • A course or certification in digital marketing is an advantage.
  • Results-oriented, analytical, and strong in planning and organising.
