Role

Your role will be to strengthen Edunet Foundation's finance and grant compliance function by ensuring financial accuracy, donor compliance and effective financial governance. You will work closely with programme teams and implementation partners to review financial documents, support audits, and maintain high standards of compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Review financial reports, utilisation certificates, invoices, vouchers and supporting documents submitted by partners.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, donor guidelines, and statutory requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate with partners to resolve financial issues.
  • Support internal controls, audits, financial documentation, and compliance reporting.
  • Prepare financial summaries, review reports and compliance checklists.
  • Coordinate with programme teams and implementation partners on finance and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with reconciliations, accounting support, and month-end finance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, compliance, audit or grant management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills.
  • Prior experience working with an NGO, CSR organisation, or donor-funded project is mandatory. Applications without relevant development sector experience may not be considered.
