Responsibilities

  • Support donor due diligence processes and financial assessments
  • Enter and maintain donor leads, proposals and grant data in the donor management system
  • Update ARMMAN's organizational profile and documents on donor facing platforms such as Guidestar, Candid and GiveIndia
  • Share donation receipts with funders and maintain records
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and financial inputs for grant proposals, and act as the first point of contact for programme teams on budget queries
  • Maintain compliance documentation, including FCRA, Income Tax, 80G, 12A and CSR related records, and respond to basic compliance queries from internal teams and donors
  • Compile data and documents for internal, statutory and donor audits
  • Support donors and the finance team with information needed to facilitate fund transfers
  • Track grant wise budgets, expenditures and fund utilization, flagging deviations or delays to the reporting manager
  • Support documentation of SOPs, templates and financial guidelines for fundraising and compliance

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, CFA, Social Work or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in the social or development sector
  • Understanding of grant management processes, donor compliance requirements and programme implementation and reporting cycles
  • Knowledge of compliance and donor regulations such as FCRA, 80G and 12A
  • Strong working knowledge of budgeting, financial tracking and grant utilization
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare utilization reports and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, along with financial management systems. - Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Zoho CRM, is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Hindi communication skills, with strong writing, editing and attention to detail
  • Strong documentation and record management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow up on time
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders
