Role
The Associate, Field Execution will implement The/Nudge's InSight Program on the ground across MSME clusters, artisan communities, Self-Help Groups, and villages in the assigned district. Millions in India live with uncorrected presbyopia, a condition that affects near vision as people age, and simple interventions like reading glasses can significantly boost income and productivity. This role is central to bringing that solution to underserved communities who otherwise lack access to eye care. It requires extensive travel and close coordination with the Team Lead and local stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Visit MSME clusters, industrial units, artisan communities, Self-Help Groups, villages and community institutions to bring people in for screening.
- Build awareness about presbyopia and why correcting near vision matters for work and daily life.
- Coordinate with local leaders and institutions to organise screening sessions.
- Conduct vision screenings every day using the programme's standard screening protocols.
- Identify people with near vision impairment and recommend the right reading glasses for them.
- Distribute reading glasses and explain how to use and care for them.
- Give every beneficiary a warm and professional experience.
- Capture the required information using digital applications on a smartphone.
- Maintain accurate daily records of screenings, distributions, referrals and inventory.
- Submit daily reports to the Team Lead.
- Manage your assigned stock of reading glasses and screening materials, reconcile it, request replenishment on time, and report damaged or missing items.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and programme guidelines, and take part in refresher training and review meetings.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (12th Pass with relevant field experience may also apply).
- 1 to 2 years of experience in field operations, community outreach, healthcare, sales, NGO programs, insurance, or rural development.
- Comfortable travelling extensively within the assigned district.
- Good communication skills.
- Comfortable using Android smartphones and mobile applications.
- Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently. with local leaders, government departments and community institutions.
- This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
