##PETA India PETA India works to stop cruelty to animals and to change the way people and companies treat them. It runs public campaigns, investigations, rescue work and education programmes across the country, and it works directly with businesses to change the products they sell and the practices they follow. Much of that change happens quietly, through steady conversations with the people who make decisions inside companies. When a company agrees to drop an animal-tested ingredient or an animal-derived material, the effect reaches every customer it serves. This role sits within PETA India's Corporate Affairs team, which persuades companies to adopt policies that are better for animals.

Role

You will build and hold relationships with decision-makers inside companies, and use those relationships to move corporate policy toward kinder treatment of animals. The work mixes research, campaign planning and direct persuasion: understanding where a company stands, deciding how best to approach it, and making a clear case to its executives. You will report to the Director, Corporate Affairs, and work closely with teams across campaigns, media, celebrity engagement and online marketing.

Responsibilities

• Start, manage, and execute corporate campaigns encouraging humane treatment of animals, from research and strategy to execution
• Build relationships with corporate executives through calls, meetings, and presentations to drive change
• Collaborate closely with PETA teams across campaigns, media, celebrity engagement, and online marketing
• Represent PETA India to the media and public, and travel as needed for meetings and engagements

Requirements

• Degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns, with proven presentation, negotiation, and creative strategy skills
• Strong communication skills, independent judgement, and understanding of corporate structures
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure, handle confidential information, and represent the organisation professionally
• Adherence to a vegan lifestyle and strong support for PETA's philosophy and positions
