Role

This role involves providing psycho-therapeutic services to children and adult survivors of sexual abuse, maintaining documentation for all cases, and supporting the team in case work and related tasks. The role requires the ability to reflect on field realities, challenges, and movements specific to interventions on the issue of CSA, and work towards mitigating concerns in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psycho-therapeutic services to children and adult survivors of sexual abuse
  • Maintain the client database and documentation of all cases in organizational formats, submitting monthly updates to the Coordinator
  • Conduct group sessions on various Mental Health topics like self-care
  • Support the team in case work and other tasks

Requirements

  • Full-time Master's in Clinical/Counselling Psychology from a UGC recognized university, OR full-time MSW with specialization in Psychiatric Social Work/Mental Health Psychology from a UGC recognized university
  • 1-2 years of experience in direct psychotherapeutic interventions with clients
  • Therapeutic knowledge and trauma-informed practice
  • Critical thinking and good communication skills
  • Good documentation skills and stickler for detail and process adherence
  • Openness to learning and ethical understanding of therapy and practices
  • Ability to work in a team with clear and open communication
  • Knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel necessary
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi
  • Willingness to travel to various locations in and around Mumbai
