sarvam (2) (1).png For 13 years, Sarvam Shakti has helped girls from marginalised communities grow through all-round education and support. It now also runs programmes for women's development. Its centers span three Indian states and serve over 300 students, run by a team of paid teachers and volunteer professionals. The centers are full of energy, purpose and community spirit. This role sits within Sarvam Shakti's Gurgaon headquarters, which runs daily center operations and supports the children, teachers and volunteers who make the programme work.

Role

Sarvam Shakti is looking for a warm, energetic woman to lead daily administration and operations at its Gurgaon center. This is not a desk-only job. You will keep the office running smoothly while spending real time with the children, teachers and volunteers, making sure classes run well and the center feels safe, caring and well organised. You take over from an Admin Head who led the center for three years. The role is on-site at DLF Phase 1, close to Sikanderpur Metro station, five days a week, from 11:00 AM to 6:30 or 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Handle professional email communication with staff, partners and visitors.
  • Maintain clear and organised digital records.
  • Prepare receipts and manage vendor and utility bills.
  • Record daily expenses and keep accounts clear and transparent.
  • Plan and coordinate schedules for paid teachers and guest or volunteer teachers so classes run without gaps.
  • Visit classrooms every day to observe sessions and check teaching quality.
  • Build a caring, disciplined and encouraging space for the children.
  • Welcome and brief visiting mentors, donors and volunteers, and help them understand the organisation's values.
  • Lead by example and motivate staff and students.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in office administration, centre coordination, or grassroots or NGO field work
  • A high energy, caring role model who can motivate staff and inspire young girls by example
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Hindi
  • Confident with basic computer tools (Google Workspace, MS Excel, Word, email)
  • Based in or around Gurgaon, with a reliable daily commute
  • At least one strong professional reference from a previous employer or supervisor
  • Open only to female candidates, as per organisational policy

Benefits

  • Salary of ₹40,000 per month, all-inclusive with transport allowance, and open to negotiation.
  • Full-time role with a five-day work week.
  • Office close to Sikanderpur Metro station.
  • A leadership role with real responsibility for running a center.
  • Daily work with girls, teachers and volunteers in a purpose-driven, community-focused team.
