Its newest effort is thespark centre, a first-of-its-kind hub in Whitefield, Bengaluru built for social entrepreneurs, where new ideas meet real support through curated events, shared workspaces, and honest conversation. This role sits within thespark centre's outreach and growth function, which brings members into the hub and keeps the community active and connected.

Role
the*spark centre is looking for a Manager, Outreach and Growth to bring in the people who will fill the hub and make it useful. You will sell coworking memberships and event bookings to social innovators, nonprofits, foundations, and CSR teams, and you will keep the community warm once they arrive. The work sits at the meeting point of sales and community building, so you will be out in the Bengaluru ecosystem as much as you are behind a desk.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle for coworking memberships and event venue bookings, focused on social innovators, nonprofits, foundations, and CSR departments.
- Build and maintain a steady outreach pipeline by researching potential members and partner organisations.
- Conduct site tours and lead walkthroughs for people considering the space.
- Drive building occupancy and venue use towards 100 percent through follow-ups, proposals, and closing memberships.
- Attend networking events and startup gatherings across Bengaluru to promote the*spark community and find new leads.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering sales progress, pipeline health, occupancy trends, and community activity.
- Coordinate with the marketing team so lead generation matches on-ground sales needs and the events calendar.
- Curate the fortnightly member newsletter.
- Manage the digital platforms that keep the member community engaged online.
- Work with the community team so new members are welcomed in a way that matches what was promised during the sales conversation.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of professional experience in sales, business development, or marketing.
- A proven record of converting leads and managing sales cycles with institutional stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to explain the value of a social innovation ecosystem to very different audiences.
- Working knowledge of CRM software such as Zoho or Salesforce.
- Comfort with email marketing tools.
- Basic skill with digital design platforms such as Canva.
- Strong networking ability, with an existing presence in or familiarity with the Bengaluru social entrepreneurship or startup ecosystem.
- The ability to read sales data and metrics and use them to sharpen outreach.
- Willingness to be based at Whitefield, Bengaluru and to be out in the city meeting people.
