Role

This role looks after payroll and everything around it, so that every person on the team is paid correctly and on time. The work covers monthly salary processing, reimbursements, tax deductions and statutory filings, along with clear and patient answers when an employee has a question about their pay. It calls for accuracy, discretion with private information, and a service mindset towards colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll including salary, deductions, leave adjustments, variable pay and full and final settlements.
  • Manage employee reimbursements and verify the supporting documents for each claim.
  • Ensure payroll, TDS and applicable statutory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and audit ready payroll and employee records.
  • Support employee onboarding, exits and benefits related activities.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and management summaries.
  • Handle employee queries on payroll, tax, reimbursements and benefits.
  • Support TDS declarations, investment proofs and tax related activities.

Requirements

  • Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Human Resources or a related field.
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in payroll and employee administration.
  • Good understanding of salary TDS and payroll compliance.
  • Experience working with HRMS or payroll software.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with numbers.
  • Ability to keep salary and personal information confidential.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to hold a monthly deadline.
  • Comfortable answering employee questions directly and patiently.
  • Able to work from the office in Sector 45, Gurugram or at Jasola, Delhi.
  • Available for a five day working week.
