Role
Protsahan India Foundation is hiring a Program Officer – Training & Facilitation (Adverse Childhood Experiences) in New Delhi. The role focuses on designing trauma-informed curricula, facilitating capacity-building programmes, leading research, and strengthening psychosocial support systems for children and communities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop trauma-informed curricula and training programmes.
- Facilitate state and national-level training sessions for teachers, social workers, and allied professionals.
- Develop strategic approaches to address childhood trauma using systems thinking.
- Lead research, content development, and knowledge management initiatives.
- Build partnerships with government departments, NGOs, law enforcement agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and support programme implementation.
- Apply evidence-based psychosocial and therapeutic interventions.
- Strengthen learning ecosystems and contribute to organisational strategy.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work, Sociology, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training facilitation, curriculum design, and childhood trauma programmes.
- Experience working in NGOs, child protection, community mental health, or psychosocial programmes is preferred.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- High professional integrity, resilience, and commitment to child safeguarding.
