Role
Swasti is looking for a Project Associate to support the Program Manager in running and monitoring a programme focused on heat resilience, worker wellbeing, and occupational health and safety in factories. This role sits at the centre of coordination, connecting factory teams, healthcare providers, and workers to make sure health services, trainings, and safety measures reach the people who need them.
Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager with planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities
- Maintain trackers, timelines, meeting calendars, and project documentation
- Coordinate with cluster teams and factories to roll out heat resilience and worker safety programmes
- Manage the telehealth programme, including scheduling consultations, referrals, follow ups, and case tracking
- Support Heat Action Plans, early warning dashboards, trainings, Climate Care Hubs, and worker feedback systems
- Consolidate field and health data, spot gaps, and help prepare reports and presentations
- Organise trainings, factory visits, medical camps, and stakeholder meetings, including logistics
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in public health, social work, community development, management, social sciences, occupational health, or a related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination, programme implementation, or field operations
- Experience in public health, worker wellbeing, occupational safety, telehealth, or factory based programmes is preferred
- Experience coordinating with nurses, doctors, government departments, or community groups is a plus
- Strong coordination, planning, and follow up skills, with attention to detail
- Good written and spoken English, with the ability to work professionally with workers, doctors, and factory teams
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to handle sensitive health data accurately and confidentially
- Willingness to travel to project locations when needed
